Knack's Parkview Cafe Reviews

Eat there when I can. Chicken chicken special is awesome. I like the meatballs. All the food is well done and the place is very clean and friendly. Highly recommend this place if you are a visitor or a local. Love the nostalgia on the walls.

We just happened on this cafe, and I'm glad we did. After paying tourist prices everywhere, the prices here were a shock - in a good way. They serve comfort food, in a comfortable place. You could tell that everything in the place had meaning, some history to tell. And the main thing it would say is that your wallet and your belly are going to leave satisfied and full. I especially like restaurants where you set the pace - you don't feel rushed, and you don't feel neglected. This is that kind of place.

I started going to Knack's around the time they opened when I was still in high school (A LOOONG TIME AGO). I lived on Niagara and my friend and I would walk down for breakfast and order 2 eggs, toast, sausage. Their sausage patties are literally so delicious and, in my experience, not available anywhere else. I recently went with my husband and again with my daughter and it was like time hadn't skipped a beat. The breakfast was just as delicious as I remembered. They also have grilled ham and cheese on the menu which I have not tried, but sincerely feel all diners should have and rarely do. Lastly, my daughter was bummed bc she wanted choc chip pancakes and they weren't on the menu but she convinced me to ask the waitress and what do you know, yep, they can do choc chip pancakes. This place has a real comfortable family feel to it. If you don't like to cook Bfast, but you like to eat it, you won't be disappointed here.

I have driven past this restaurant maybe a thousand times since I live in the area and I've never stopped. That was a big mistake. Went there last Friday. Outstanding. Clean, friendly. Nice menu. I'll be going back if you like. Nostalgia you'll like this place. The walls are full of pictures The coffee was excellent. The food was well prepared and while presented the waitress was very nice and very patient as I went through the menu again outstanding place

This is definitely a spot for the locals. Very good food and service was great and friendly. The home fries were some of the best I've had. The one disappointment is they no longer have the JP French Toast!!! I really wanted to try them but overall still a great spot.

Picked up breakfast to go yesterday. Although this establishment closed for a few months, the prices and the wonderful consistency of the food has remain rock solid. Please consider this family owned business over the chain restaurants. We've gotta show support to our small business owners.

Love this spot for breakfast. It's a cute, local spot in Niagara Falls to grab breakfast or lunch. We always get the JB French toast for the table to share. It's coated with corn flakes and deep fried.... amazing. My sister and I split the full size of mixed eggs and ordered a side of home fries. The mixed eggs were great and a huge portion, we even had left overs. The mixed eggs tasted like they had fresh ingredients and still had a nice little crunch to the peppers. The home fries are awesome! They were real potatoes sliced, seasoned and cooked up perfectly. These are the best home fries in the area. Service was great and friendly, our coffee was always hot and full. It's the type of place, where you always know someone when you walk in. Definitely worth checking out when in the area!

I've driven by this place a million times but never thought to go in until it popped up on day on Yelp. It's a breakfast/lunch place. It's not easy to spot and it has no huge sign on the front of the building. We walked in at 11:00am on a Saturday morning and they had a few customers. There are good number of booths and tables here. From the outside it looks small but once you get in there you see it's pretty big. The server greeted us with a smile and we ordered coffee ($1.50), which tasted pretty good. Lots of breakfast options on the menu. I went with the #1 333 breakfast which contained 3 eggs, 3 toast, and 3 bacon for only $4.75. It came up very quickly. The scrambled eggs were good but cut up too finely. The bacon was also good but a bit too hard. The Italian toast was very hearty, I really liked it. The waitress kept refilling our coffee mugs. She took care of us very well. I'll have to try them for lunch one day.

If you’re hunting for that neighborhood cafe with a welcoming vibe and good coffee, this is it. It’s the kind of place where the waitresses remember your usual, and the portions always lean generous.
From the outside, it may look unassuming, but walk in and you’re met with the nostalgic charm of a classic American diner. The booths are comfy, the kitchen smells like bacon and fresh toast, and you’ll almost always hear someone chatting up the staff by name. It’s that kind of place—low-key, family-friendly, and consistent.
Homemade menu favorites that locals rave about
One of the standout aspects of Knack's Parkview Cafe is its diverse and reliable menu. It’s not trying to be trendy—it’s serving up the food people come back for week after week. The pancakes are fluffy, the omelets are loaded, and the French toast is golden brown with a hint of cinnamon.
Their all-day breakfast menu is a huge draw, especially for early risers and late-morning brunchers. But don’t skip the lunch selections either. The Parkview Burger, topped with crispy bacon and melty cheese, is a house special, while the tuna melt and chicken Philly hit the spot on a chilly afternoon.
Even better, the menu caters to all appetites—light bites like grilled chicken salads sit right alongside hearty country-fried steak platters. Everything tastes like it came out of someone’s home kitchen, and we mean that in the best way possible.
Friendly service and a location that feels like home
There’s something about the staff here that makes each visit feel personal. It might be the way the cook comes out to ask how your eggs were, or how the servers refill your coffee without being asked. That friendly diner experience is a big part of what keeps people coming back.
And the location couldn’t be more convenient. Nestled between residential neighborhoods and main roads, Knack's Parkview Cafe is a go-to for everyone from construction workers grabbing breakfast before a shift to families stopping by after church on Sunday. Its spot on Hyde Park Blvd means it's just minutes away from downtown Niagara Falls attractions, but far enough from the tourist crowds to feel like a local gem.
Even parking is easy—there’s plenty of space out front, and the turnover is just right. You won’t be waiting long for a seat, but the atmosphere inside is never rushed.
Real reviews and repeat customers say it all

Scroll through the online reviews, and you’ll find phrases like “hidden gem,” “best breakfast in town,” and “reminds me of my grandma’s cooking.” That kind of praise doesn’t come from gimmicks—it comes from doing the basics exceptionally well.
One reviewer noted, “It’s not fancy, and it doesn’t try to be. But everything I’ve had here—from the waffles to the turkey club—has been top-notch.” Another mentioned, “They treat you like family here. And in a world of fast food and drive-thrus, that means something.”
This kind of loyalty speaks volumes. In a town full of dining options, Knack’s has carved out its space not by being flashy, but by being dependable, honest, and delicious. It’s not just a place to eat—it’s a place where people connect, linger, and leave full and happy.

It’s the kind of spot that defines what great local dining is all about—honest food, fair prices, and a community feel that’s getting harder to find. Whether you're a local or just passing through, one visit is all it takes to understand why this place has such a loyal following.
Wonderful breakfast diner! The food was an amazing!! The price blew me away! All this food for $21! The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly, not many places cook sunny side up eggs correctly. You have to try their hot sauce, it was one of the best hot sauces I have had, very flavorful. Next time I am near Niagara I will definitely be back! The waitress was so nice and helpful!
